Our Beginnings
Plantiful began in 2010 as City Maid Green in Orlando, Florida. What started as a green house cleaning side hustle quickly grew into a vibrant homecare store front and trusted house cleaning business in the community. After more than 1,000 homes served and 6 years with a storefront, Founder and owner Diana Palmar moved out west to Bend Oregon to expand the business.
Today, Plantiful homecare products are sold in dozens of refilleries and small businesses across America as well as online and local markets.
I'm so glad you're here. I’m Diana—the founder and maker at Plantiful Clean. I started this venture over 10 years ago while cleaning homes for a summer with a friend in Orlando, FL. We soon discovered even “natural” cleaning products we thought were safe were actually toxic to our health and the planet.
There’s a saying that instead of worrying about what you cannot control, shift your energy to what you can create. So, I got to work learning the art and science of formulating my own cleaning products. I studied old fashioned soap making (the kind my great grandma in Romania used to make) and immersed myself into learning about the cleaning power of plants.
My little cleaning side hustle soon started to take off and so did the products I was making. Today, City Maid Green is now Plantiful Clean and retails its products in small businesses and refilleries all across America.
Plantiful is the reflection of my personal journey in creating a green and sustainable home. We’re on a mission to make America green—one clean house at a time.
