    How many hours should I book?

    The number of hours you’ll want to book depends on your home’s size, number of bathrooms, and how detailed you’d like the cleaning to be. Use the guide below as a starting point. Your maid will focus on your top priorities during the time booked.

    How does payment work?

    We collect a 20% booking deposit to secure your cleaning appointment. The remainder 80% is due at time of cleaning directly to your maid. Maids accept cash, check or venmo.

    Do I need to provide cleaning supplies?

    All maids use Plantiful Clean’s non-toxic, naturally effective products—safe for kids, pets, and sensitive homes. Maids are equipped with our Multisurface Cleaner, Bathroom Cleaner and Floor Cleaner.

    If you have a particular product you’d like to provide your maid with, we’re happy to accommodate.

    Is tipping required?

    Tips are never expected but are always appreciated. If you’d like to tip your cleaner, you can do so directly by cash, check, or Venmo.

    Do I need to be home for the cleaning?

    You’re welcome to be home during your cleaning, or to step out and let your cleaner work independently—it’s entirely up to you. If you’ll be away, just be sure to leave entry and lock-up instructions. For added peace of mind, we’re proud to share that in 15+ years of service, we’ve never had a theft incident.

    Can I add more time to my booking?

    If your checklist ends up needing a bit more time, no problem! If your cleaner’s schedule allows, you can add extra time during your visit. Extra time is $25 per 30 minutes per maid and can be paid directly to your cleaner(s).

    What is your cancellation policy?

    We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Call, text or email your maid directly for rescheduling / cancellations.

    Cancellations made 24+ hours in advance: your deposit can be applied to a future booking.

    Cancellations made less than 24 hours before your appointment: the deposit is non-refundable.

    Are maids employees of Plantiful Clean?

    Maids are not employees of our company but affiliates who partner with us for to receive bookings and our non-toxic cleaning products. Maids are paid directly by the customer after each cleaning.
